FC Bulkhead Fiber Optic Attenuator
Attenuators are often required to help inducing errors or failures when an optical signal has too much exceeding the operating range of equipment power.
Bulkhead fiber optic attenuator is a type of fixed female to female attenuator in adapter version. It is like adapters can be loaded in adapter panels to realize a fixed attenuation level with a doped fiber contained for 1310nm or 1550nm operation.
The FC bulkhead fiber optic attenuator has same structure as FC standard square type adapters to accept standard FC fiber optic connectors in singlemode PC, APC and multimode. FC optical fiber attenuators are mostly used in CATV networks,data communication and telecommunication networks.
